4, Common procedure of system troubleshooting

  A, Analysis data and survey

 Analysis data and survey is the base of diagnosis and troubleshooting. To analysis completed system condition and master detail data is necessary.


   Changing time and relative situation, system operation record

  ★ Changing of water-input and water source, TDS, temperature, SDI, left Cl, ion concentration and PH value

  ★ Adjusting and result of system operation data


★ Relative maters about system performance changing, including start and off time, protection method on take-off machinery(fast system pulse, stopping protection and meddle water box stopping before high voltage pump), replace safe filter, water-output volume changing and replace operating member, etc.

  ★ Medicine-filling changing: antiscalant, dispersant, reductant, acid, medicine filling at pre-treatment system, and vendor of medicine.

  ★ Method chaning, e.g. changing rate

  B, Data standardize

To confirm actual value of system performance reducing. Exclusion water quality and operation data changing has effect to system.

  C, Simulation calculating through software from vendor of anti- infiltration

   To check the rationality of whole system, which includes membranes element shape, membranes element arrangement, pump performance, system operation data, deposition possibility, concentration and pre-water-output quality, etc.

  D, Detection on pressure volume

   To find membranes element with problem, design distribution drawing of system salt-escape, master regularity of system salt-escape.

  E, Checking 0 shape ring

   Replace destroyed 0 shape ring

  F, Detection on pollution of membranes element

To confirm physical and chemical characteristics of pollution on both ends of membranes element.

G, Analysising reason of pollution

To find reason of pollution in order to control membranes pollution.

H, Cleaning plan

To design plan of cleaning pollution about pollution situation.

I, Cleaning test

It is necessary to carry clean test on whole area or membranes system polluted serious before system cleaning, the data will be as the important basis.

J, Attention to system cleaning

 At first of cleaning period, medicine rate may be slow and then fasten regularly.

After medicine cleaning, washing may be fast and large flow rate to a sum of 6~9m3/h of 8 inch membranes, and 1.3~2.3m3/h for 4 inch membranes.

5, Other common faults

A, Membranes element installation

Dislocation: If there is distance between membranes elements or membranes element and adaptor, the membranes element will dislocate , the 0 shape ring and connection point will be damaged.

Caution: For smoothing, chemical solution, Vaseline, lubricants and grease must not be used in ) shape ring, connection tube, sealing ring of connector and sealing ring concentrated water. But water dissolved Lubricants, e.g. Glycerol

  B, Primary washing time of system debugging not enough

   When membranes element products, sodium bisulfite is common to as protection liquid. If washing time is not enough, left protection liquid will cause electric conductivity higher than design data. Nominal time of washing is more than 30 minutes.

  C, Fault in pre-treatment

   Sand leak, carbon leak, Fe and Mn value higher than rule, left precipitation and SDI too high

 D, Water-output infected by virus

   For without antiscalant in RO water-output, if connecting with air infected by virus, it will create infection in tube, membranes element center pipe and water-output flow channel.

   Resolution: To sterilize water-output system with anti- infiltration medicine and 1% solution of sodium bisulfite. Immersing tube and membranes element for 2 hours to electric conductivity index suiting to rul
